Loading stuff into Photoshop
Done
Open and save file to computer
Create a
new folder in
"My
Documents".
We will call it
"3D box"
Click Save
This is a zipped file. We can
do nothing with it until it is
unzipped.
Click the " Extract all Files" in
the Folders Task.
In windows XP you will get a
new window as seen to the
right to extract a file.
By default, the extracted files will be put
back in My Documents
If you would like to confirm it's
location check "Show extracted files",
then "Finished".
Click next
The box on the left is the old zipped
file and the box here is our new
unzipped file ready to be loaded
into Photoshop.
In Photoshop, select Window,
Actions
And this window opens.
Select..Load actions
A load box will open. And in "recent
documents" find and load our 3D Box
Hit the load button.
To Make our 3D action.
Open an image, select our 3D
box and click the play button.
(The little triangle).
Save in...
Note: All zipped files will have a
zipper pictured on the file
Most things that can be loaded
into Photoshop can be done
with this method.
Example: Load brushes, load
gradients. Etc.
